The festivities kicked off with a lively parade at 10 AM, and various activities throughout the day, including a street dance and live music playing until a bit past 7PM.
The Lost Pines Art Center hosted "Art After Dark" Mardi Gras theme, complete with live music and an incredible live painting demo by the very talented New Orleans native, artist Curtis Griffin. Watch a video of the event Here!
Meanwhile, the Bastrop Museum and Visitor Center offered a unique experience, inviting guests to come in and craft a friendship bracelet for free! Downtown was packed with excitement, make sure to follow us on social media to stay up to date on other events throughout Bastrop County and the surrounding communities.
