The Traveling Exhibition: Harriet Tubman - "The Journey to Freedom"

June 15 @ 12:00 pm - August 15 @ 5:00 pm

The Traveling Exhibition: Harriet Tubman - "The Journey to Freedom" sculpted by Wesley Wofford featuring Harriet Tubman, the abolitionist and political activist who led hundreds of slaves to freedom, will stand tall at Kerr Community Center in Bastrop, TX beginning June 15 through mid-August 2024.
The statue was designed and built by Emmy- and Academy-winning artist Wesley Wofford of the Wofford Sculpture Studio, based in North Carolina. Wofford's works are on display publicly and privately throughout the world.
We are excited to welcome this statue to Texas for the first time, and we hope you'll make plans to visit while it's here.
